Comment: I've been married 21 years to a great guy Dan. We have 1 child a 19 yr old son Calvin who's preparing for college and a black lab Hobbes whos pushin 15 yrs old. Looking back I don't think ther's much I'd change in my life. I've been blessed with a wonderful family. And I've been blessed to be a cancer survivor. Life Is Good. |

Catching up. After studying at Virginia I went on to get degrees from both the Boston Architectural Center in Boston, then a masters at Yale University. Following Yale, worked briefly in Philly while designing and building the obligatory retirement house for Mom in Fenwick Island before moving to Hartford CT to work for my mentor at Yale. After 4 years there in Hartford, met my wife Lori and moved to Boston where she went to Med School. After 8 years in Boston- while I was working on the Central Artery Project- she completed her schooling and residency and since she owed the Air Force for her education, we left Boston for Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy where she was the OB GYN squadron leader. Are you keeping up? After 4 years there (and some neat James Bond type projects for Space Command, NORAD and Cape Canaveral) we returned to the east coast to be near gravely ill family ,and settled in Hershey PA, where I was an associate partner, working for a firm doing university work and schools. We missed the west, though, and moved a year ago to Tucson (after most of our family had passed on) to pursue our careers. Lori has joined an all female group here, and after renovating our house, I was recruited to join the largest Architecture and Engineering firm in Tucson, where I am Director of Architecture, transitioning to a partner this June. Do a variety of stuff, ranging from university pharmacy labs to schools to VA hospitals to loft renovations to central plant cooling towers . Along the way we had a girl, Bryn-10, and a boy, Quinn-5 and a corgi, Henry. Most of our time is spent with them playing or coaching soccer ( me as a soccer coach is, I admit, a difficult thing to picture), hiking or travelling through the southwest. I also developed a fervor for skiing, which is poorly served living in southern Arizona. |
